Taking out Sainsbury's pet insurance was as it should be.
I want to know what we are covered for, what we are not covered for, a competitive price, a name we can trust and being able to complete the transazction with a few clicks.

I have always used Sainsburys pet insurance for our 2 dogs. They were rescue dogs and both aged 8 when we got them. The premium was always fair despite one dog developing diabetes and the other a heart condition. They always paid the claims quickly and their communication is 2nd to none. I would highly recommend anyone considering pet insurance to use them.

I have taken the Pet Insurance for my dog as there was an attractive offer with 7000 Nectar points. I have contracted the insurance on 10/04/22 and following several complaints and phone calls I still have not received a single point.
I feel that I have been lied to and deceived !!
They lured me into taking the policy then nothing.
I give them another week and I will take my business somewhere else.
I would not recommend this company !!

The process was easy but I did have a voucher for nectar pints and there was no method to claim these

The main reason I took out this policy is entirely due to the conversation I had on the phone with your member of staff. He was so friendly, informative and professional and made the whole experience an absolute pleasure. He is an asset to your company!

I ve had Sainsburys pet insurance for nearly six years, my dog has a significant medical history all claims have been dealt with promptly by Sainsburys either as payment to myself or my vet, using the pet portal is a quick and easy process to submit claims.

Really quick response to processing the claim. Very easy process

Pathetic online system, locks me out of the app for no reason (it's all stored on my phone with fingerprint login, then suddenly doesn't work). Go to web site to unlock account, go through the whole process with multiple OTPs, change my password that's all carefully noted in BitWarden password manager and triple checked - log in once then it's suddenly locked out again. Total exercise in frustration.

When the card did work, every time I went to use it there was a block on there to "prevent fraud", so more OTPs, more faffing, and usually whatever transaction I was trying to do timed out.

IF I could log in, I'd cancel it. I'm just going to ignore it from now on, too much like hard work.

There is never an issue with our claims. Painless

Doing the claim form online was really quick and easy. The claim was settled immediately with my vets.

If you want to pay the equivilent of nearly the whole year policy when you decide to cancel due to selling your car etc. go with these scammers. They charge a huge amount of (£97) to cancel the policy even though I was only paying £13 a month. I nearly had to pay a years payments to get rid of them. Never again will I use them for any insurance or anything else. I am writing this review to warn people before they commit to this car insurance.

Our claims for our elderly dog were handled efficiently and quickly without any fuss. I would recommend Sainsburys Pet Insurance.
